first time visiting santa! (i took a picture of our picture in the frame...it was the best i could do)
waiting in the freeeeezing cold to see santa (or a promo for crate and barrell...your choice)
still waiting. (we had to wait about 30 minutes out in the cold. towards the end she started getting fussy and we thought we'd have a screaming santa pic for sure...but she surprised us)
first christmas tree!
trying to pull it to her mouth (of course)
probably the biggest news in our house is that we stopped swaddling her to sleep (don't we lead exciting lives!). she hasn't been sleeping very soundly the last few days, so i thought i'd try putting her on her tummy to sleep yesterday. she can now reach the pacifier and put it in her mouth (glorious!), but keeps putting it in upside down and getting frusterated (bummer). my plan today is to switch pacifiers. we have a different kind that doesn't have a "right" way to go in. another plus is that she won't have her usual rat's nest in the back of her hair from turning her head from side to side. it was so bad this morning, i was sure i was going to have to cut it out. i almost ran to get the camera, but remembered that it wasn't safe OR responsible to leave her in the bath tub unattended just so i could take a picture for the blog.
first time in the high chair. she loves it!
first taste of bananas. it takes her a few bites, but then she realizes that she likes them.
just a funny picture
first snow!
she always manages to find the edge of my coat to chew on
loving checking out the snow flakes
