we like sundays

today was a good day. we made it to church (we've been skipping more than we'd like since isabella's arrival). mike was on the worship team, the kids stayed in for worship, a good friend got baptised (yay des!), and we put isabella in the nursery for the first time. i took a short video of the kids worshiping (below)-there's nothing like seeing children praise God. isabella and i both had a bit of a hard time with the nursery thing. i didn't cry...but i could've. (if you told me i'd be saying that a year ago, i would've laughed at you). and she was over-due for a nap and only lasted about 45 minutes before they were going to page me (no, i wasn't standing outside the window watching when they came to page me!). but it was a good first attempt. hopefully next week she won't have woken up before 7 am (!) and therefore, won't be so tired. then we had the muchiras and the reeves over for lunch, football, and snickerdoodles (of course).just wanted to show off her new headband that i made for her! (the band looks more like gauze in pictures instead of crochet...oh well).
