a year ago today emily had her third baby boy, mason. somehow, very last minute she decided that she didn't mind if i stayed in the room for his birth. it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life (thankfully, it was a quick and easy labor so it didn't scare me too much!). he weighed the same as me when i was born (7lbs 11oz), which is just the first of our many bonds. he is a sweet, sweet boy...i can't believe he's already one!
yummy cake!
it was a dress up party. we were the addams family-not very attractive, but we were going for first prize. i had forgotten that mike was growing a mustache, so when he picked me up at the airport, i was pretty appalled. but it was perfect for his costume!
it was really hard making a straight mustache!
mike: "look honey, a girl after my own heart!"
me: "i guess i'll take a picture."
