i can't believe its been a whole year! we feel so blessed that God has entrusted isabella to us. she has brought such joy to our lives and i just don't have the words to express how much i love her and love being her mommy. so instead, here are a ton of pictures of our sweet and sassy little one year old.

wearing grandma's necklace was probably the highlight of her big day.
here is a little trick we started working on months before her first birthday.
her official first word? dada.
grandma with all of her grandkids
we spent her birthday morning with the reeves at our pool.
passed out in her new carseat
she has really mastered tipping that cup back
she spends most of her days looking expectently at us with her hands like this in hopes that we'll sing her favorite song: see ya later alligator
and she's a happy girl when we sing it
poor girl looooves dogs and will NEVER have one of her own

this is her saying: "please stop asking me how old i am so that i'll pose for a picture and just feed me lunch!
much better!
the party favors were monogramed shirts for the boys and flower pin shirts for the girls made by my amazingly creative sister, emily.
grandma victoria made her that little tutu for her party and it was SO cute!
isabella and her "big sister," anna
after swimming was cake time! how else were we going to lure the kids out of the pool than the offer of birthday cake? here is her first taste....
...and she likes it! a LOT.
a little overwhelmed by all of that sugarhappy birthday little girl, we love you!

Loved all of your pictures and captions...what a FUN day it was! All for our littlest member of the BIG family. How darling, and how loved she is by so many friends and family. Here's to you, Mike and Hillary, for throwing a wonderful party fit for a princess!
